5th Annual Northern Virginia Housing Expo To Take Place March 21 At Herndon High School

The Northern Virginia Housing Expo, a free public event showcasing rental and first time ownership opportunities in the region, will take place Saturday, March 21, from 10 am to 3 pm at Herndon High School in Herndon, Virginia. Expo planners also announced a new web site that will link visitors looking to rent or buy in Northern Virginia with valuable region wide resources. At http://www.novahousingexpo.org, visitors will find resources categorized by jurisdiction as well as information on the upcoming Northern Virginia Housing Expo.
The Northern Virginia Housing Expo features dozens of free workshops and exhibits designed to educate attendees about location and housing options, financing, preparation to buy or rent, understanding the current housing market, maximizing their credit scores, free one-on-one credit counseling and more. The expo is hosted by Affordable Housing Opportunity Means Everyone (AHOME), a non-profit organization, in cooperation with Virginia Housing Development Authority and representatives from the counties of Fairfax, Arlington, Prince William and Loudoun, the cities of Alexandria, Fairfax and Falls Church, and the town of Herndon.
