2 Teens Arrested After 2 Youths Robbed On School Grounds

Two suspects have been arrested after two teenage boys were robbed on the grounds of a Woodbridge middle school.

WOODBRIDGE, VA – An 18-year-old and a 15-year-old have been arrested following a physical fight and robbery that occurred on the grounds of Lake Ridge Middle School in Woodbridge, authorities said.

According to the Prince William County Police Department, two boys, ages 14 and 15, were on their school’s football field on April 6 when they were approached by the two suspects. A fight took place, and the 15-year-old was robbed of his shoes, while an unsuccessful attempt was made to rob the 14-year-old of his jacket.

Police said the 14-year-old victim was taken to an area hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

The accused are Marcus Deaundra Douglas Jr., of Woodbridge, and a 15-year-old male from Locust Grove. Both are charged with two counts of robbery.

The juvenile suspect is being held at a juvenile detention center.

Police did not give a status for Douglas.
