Alert to Parents: School Buses Running Late Today
Transportation for children in Route 1 corridor is slowed down by overturned vehicle, says Prince William school system.

School buses carrying students home in the Route 1 corridor are facing delays today, according to the Prince William County Public Schools.
On its Facebook page, the school system is asking parents to be patient, and says the delays are due to an incident involving an overturned vehicle. The incident, which occurred earlier today, is not school related.
Delays affecting bus routes for high school and middle school students “could create ripple effects for elementary [school] buses,” the school system says. Transportation for students in special education programs could also be affected.
