Amber Alert Suspect Busted In Woodbridge
A man is being held without bond after abducting a female acquaintance Sunday in Woodbridge and prompting an Amber Alert: PWC Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA โ A man is being held without bond after abducting a female acquaintance Sunday in the 14800 block of Danville Road and prompting an Amber Alert by Virginia State Police, according to Prince William County Police. Roberto Antoni Medrano-Segovia, 21, of no fixed address, was charged with abduction, gang participation, destruction of property and providing a false name to law enforcement. The victim, Sinahi Aguilar-Cruz, 16, was found unharmed.
Around 1:45 a.m., police responded to the scene for a reported abduction. Witnesses told police the girl and Medrano-Segovia had attended a party there together before getting into a violent argument. Others at the party tried to assist her, but then he whipped out a knife and threatened them, saying he belonged to the criminal street game MS-13.
He then left but soon returned with others before getting into another argument with Aguilar-Cruz, after which he forced her into his vehicle, seemingly against her will. Soon thereafter, the Amber Alert was issued. Around 2 p.m., police received a tip that both people were were on Barksdale Street in Woodbridge. Officers arrived and found them, after which they both gave fake identification. Once their real identities were verified, he went to jail and she was released to her family.
