WOODBRIDGE, VA — A Woodbridge man was arrested this week after police said a security guard caught him peeping into the window of a home where a 17-year-old girl was inside.
Rene Alfredo Musun Melendez, 43, of Woodbridge, was charged with peeping into a dwelling and public intoxication following the Thursday incident, Prince William County police said in a report.
According to police, officers responded to the 1400 block of Bayside Avenue in Woodbridge shortly before 11:20 p.m. Thursday to investigate a report of a peeping tom.
Police said a security guard saw Musun Melendez looking into the window of the home and contacted authorities.
Responding officers detained Musun Melendez, who police said appeared to be intoxicated.
Musun Melendez was taken to jail and later released on a $2,000 unsecured bond. His court date is pending.
