WOODBRIDGE, VA — A motorcyclist was killed in a crash overnight in Woodbridge, according to police.
Officers responded just before 11 p.m. Saturday to the area of Old Bridge Road at Colby Drive, where the driver of an eastbound 2014 Yamaha had attempted to navigate a curve in the road, crossed into the median, and hit a metal sign and guardrail, police said.
The driver, a 36-year-old man, was taken to an area hospital, where he later died, according to police, who said that speed is believed to have been a factor in the crash.
