WOODBRIDGE, VA – A New Jersey man has been extradited to Prince William County to face charges related to child sexual abuse material, the Prince William County Police Department announced.
Stephen Miller, 23, of Somerset, New Jersey, was arrested on July 30 after an investigation into what officers call inappropriate communication between Miller and a 16-year-old girl in Woodbridge.
Prince William County police say they learned of this communication in May 2026, when they say Miller and the teen began chatting over the social media app Snapchat.
Investigators say Miller solicited and received pornographic images of the girl during their conversations. Miller was arrested by Somerset County law enforcement and transferred to Prince William County.
He is charged with one count of possession of child pornography, five counts of possession of child pornography for a second or subsequent offense, one count of production of child pornography and two counts of using a communication system to facilitate certain offenses with a child.
Miller has a bond hearing scheduled for Aug. 12.
