WOODBRIDGE, VA – A construction worker was killed in Woodbridge on Wednesday when a mobile trailer his crew was working on pinned him.
According to the Prince William County Police Department, officers were called to a construction site on the 13000 block of Telegraph Road in Woodbridge at 9:41 a.m. They say a group of four construction workers had been working on a mobile trailer when the trailer's supports collapsed, pinning a 26-year-old man underneath. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say their preliminary investigation shows no sign of foul play, but the death remains under investigation.
A year ago, another construction worker was killed in an accident roughly two miles away, this time when heavy machinery he was operating overturned on him.
