Officers responded to the 14500 block of Potomac Mills Road around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday for a report of a disorderly person. Police said Brown refused to leave a business and aggressively approached officers before he was arrested.

At the Prince William-Manassas Regional Adult Detention Center, Brown continued acting aggressively and assaulted an officer before he was eventually secured, police said.

The officer was not injured.

Brown was being held without bond. His court date was pending.
