WOODBRIDGE, VA – A Woodbridge man has been arrested in connection with an assault with a firearm in Northwest Washington, DC, District of Columbia police announced.
Waqas Zulfiqar, 38, of Woodbridge, was arrested on Tuesday and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, the District of Columbia's Metropolitan Police Department announced.
Zulfiqar is accused of approaching another person on 12th and U Streets in Northwest Washington, DC, at about 2 a.m. on Aug. 23 and threatening that person with a gun before fleeing.
Zulfiqar is being held in custody at the DC Department of Corrections
