Armed Burglars Terrorize Home In Woodbridge

Three armed men forced people to the ground and smashed one in the head during a burglary, according to Prince William County Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — Three unknown armed men ordered people to ground, smashed one of them in the head with the butt of a gun and then entered a home Sunday night in the 13400 block of Orchard Drive, according to Prince William County Police. The suspects were described as black and wearing mostly gray and dark clothing.

Around 10 p.m., police responded to the residence. One of the victims, a 22-year-old Woodbridge man, told police the three suspects approached him and a 22-year-old Woodbridge and ordered them to the ground. They took the man's phone and then approached the house.

That's when the man tried to stand up before being struck in the head by one suspect. Two of the suspects then forced their way into the home. They ordered the residents to the floor. For whatever reason, they then quickly left the residence and fled in a vehicle. The first victim followed the suspects to the Hylton Avenue where a gunshot was heard that may have come from the suspects' vehicle.
