Armed Robbery Suspect Sought By Prince William Police

Police are looking for a man who is accused of an armed robbery at the Columbia Sportswear store in Potomac Mills on Monday.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A man accused of robbing the Columbia Sportswear store at the Potomac Mills Mall is on the loose. Police are looking for the suspect, who they identified as Jayshawn Audie Hager Jr.

On Monday afternoon, the manager of the Columbia Sportwear store saw a man try on a pair of boots, according to police reports. Hager then began walking to the exits with the boots on, and the manager tried to confront him.

The suspect showed the manager a gun that was hidden under his jacket, police said. Hager took a jacket off of a rack and left the store with the stolen items.

The incident was not reported to police until Thursday afternoon. Police identified Hager as the primary suspect in the robbery.

Police have not been able to locate Hager. Authorities described him as about 6 feet tall, 175 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes, and a full beard.

The Prince William County Police Department obtained warrants for his arrest. He is charged with robbery and brandishing a firearm.
