Armed Walmart Robber Sought In Dumfries: Police

DUMFRIES, VA—Authorities are looking for a man who robbed the Walmart at 17041 Jefferson Davis Highway Sunday afternoon, according to Prince William County Police. The suspect is described as white, between 18 and 20, 5-7 to 5-9, 160 pounds with a thin build and black hair. He was wearing an olive green hooded sweatshirt, dark blue jeans and tan or brown work boots.

Police arrived at the store around 2:30 p.m. for a reported robbery. An employee said an unknown man approached the cash register, proceeded to conduct a transaction and then flashed a gun and demanded money. He took an undisclosed amount and fled on foot.
