Arrest After 4-Month-Old Shaken Violently: Police

A man is in custody, accused of violently shaking a 4-month-old family member, according to Prince William County Police.

The small girl was treated at a local hospital for serious, but not life threatening injuries.

Sebastian Emanuel Diaz, 18, of 4300 block of Ensbrook Lane in Woodbridge, is charged with felony child abuse.

At 5:45 p.m. Wednesday, police were contacted after the victim was taken to the hospital by a another family member.

According to police, Diaz was watching the victim earlier in the day and at some point shook the small child.

Diaz is being held without bond.
