Arrests In Gang-Related Attack in Woodbridge: Police ICYMI
Two suspected gang members wielding a machete and a knife were arrested Monday, according to Prince William County Police.
WOODBRIDGE, VA — Two suspected gang members who chased two other men while waving a machete and a knife Sunday night in the 13600 block of Charles Court were arrested Monday, according to Prince William County. Kevin Orlando Merino Argueta, 19, and Bryan Wilfredo Rios-Gonzalez, 18, both of the same address in the 13300 block of Alison Street, were charged with attempted aggravated wounding, gang participation and brandishing a bladed weapon. They're being held without bond.
Around 9 p.m., police responded to the scene for a report of a fight. Police found the two victims, 20 and 18, and were told they were in the aforementioned area when they were confronted by two men, who then chased with the weapons. The parties eventually separated and the suspects fled the area before police arrived.
