Attempted Abduction Foiled By 10-Year-Old Girl's Dog In Woodbridge

A 10-year-old girl's dog saved her from an apparent abduction attempt by biting the suspect Friday afternoon in Woodbridge: PWC Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA โ€” A 10-year-old girl's dog saved her from an apparent abduction attempt by biting the suspect Friday afternoon in the 1800 block of Heather Glen Court, according to Prince William County Police. The suspect is described as a Hispanic or a light-skinned black man, late teens or early 20s, 5-3 - 5-6, 145 pounds with a thin build, short dark hair and a goatee. He was last seen wearing a white striped shirt and light-colored long pants.

The girl told police she was walking her dog in the aforementioned area shortly before 4 p.m. when an unknown man approached here and grabbed her arm. That's when her dog bit the suspect, and he fled on foot. A K-9 unit searched the area to no avail. The girl was not injured. Anyone with information is urged to call 703-670-3700.
