Attempted Armed Robbery Suspect Sought In Woodbridge: Police

WOODBRIDGE, VA—Authorities are looking for a masked man who tried but failed to rob to the the CVS drug store, 12890 Touchstone Circle, at gunpoint Monday morning, according to Prince William County Police. He's described as black, 5-4 to 5-9, 140-175 pounds with a thin build. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, black shoes with a white stripe and a black mask.

Around 10 a.m., police responded to the scene for a reported attempted robbery. An employee said an unknown man entered the store, whipped out a gun, approached the counter and demanded money. But the employee wasn't able to open the cash register, so the suspect fled empty handed.

Police searched for him with a K-9 unit to no avail. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 703-792-6500.
