Bank Robbery Suspect Images Released

Investigators are hoping that images of a bank robbery will help identify the armed suspect in the Tuesday incident.

At 4:27 p.m. Tuesday, officers responded to the Carter Bank and Trust located at 12791 Harbor Drive.

Employees reported the suspect entered the bank, brandished a gun, and demanded money. The suspect fled the area in an unknown direction, possibly in a vehicle.

An undisclosed amount of money was reported missing and there were no injuries reported.

The suspect is described as a black male between 18 and 25 years of age, 5’8’’, 160lbs with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a teal shirt, khaki colored pants, dark shoes and had a gray scarf around his head with sunglasses.
