Bank Robbery Wednesday in Dumfries: Police

Two masked men with guns robbed the United Bank, according to Prince William County Police

DUMFRIES, VA โ€” Two masked men with guns robbed the United Bank Wednesday at 17054 Jefferson Davis Highway, according to Prince William County Police.

The suspects are described as two black males, both about 5-9.

One was described as about 170 pounds with a thin build and last seen wearing a yellow hooded jacket with dark sleeves, dark jeans and a ski mask.

The other was described as about 185 pounds with a medium build and last seen wearing a dark jacket, dark jeans and a ski mask.

Shortly before 2 p.m., police arrived at the scene and were told the men approached the teller counter, flashed guns, demanded money, got it and then fled on foot.

A K-9 unit failed to find the suspects.
