WOODBRIDGE, VA — Police officers found a body behind a business along Route 1 in Woodbridge on Monday night, according to a police report.

Police identified the dead person as 46-year-old Michael Aaron Hobson II. Authorities have not determined an exact cause of death, but investigators do not suspect foul play.

A tip told police officers about a possible body near the 14100 block of Richmond Highway. Around 11:25 p.m., officers investigated the tip but could not find any remains in the area.

During their search, a person nearby pointed officers towards an outdoor shed behind a business, according to the police report. They found Hobson's body in the shed.

Officers said there was no obvious signs of trauma. Hobson's body was taken to the medical examiner for an autopsy.
