Bonefish Grill Potomac Mills has closed.
The popular seafood chain opened in the former Uno Pizzeria on the Prince William Parkway in late 2013. The restaurant closed for good on Feb. 28.
Bloomin' Brands, the Tampa-based owner of Bonefish announced earlier last month that 14 locations would close after a disappointing quarter.

The area has seen several new restaurants opening in the past few weeks, including Chuy's, Matchbox Pizza and BurgerFi.

Bonefish Grill got its start in 2000 in St. Petersburg, Fla. The eatery, noted for its wood-grilled cooking, has more than 200 restaurants across the country.
Bonefish recently earned the 2016 Consumer’s Choice Award for food quality bestowed by Technomic and has been named a No. 1 consumer pick for seafood in 2013, 2014 and 2015 by Nation’s Restaurant News.
Bloomin’ Brands is also the parent company of such chains as Outback Steakhouse and Carrabba’s Italian Grill.
