Botched Drug Deal, Shooting Nets Arrests In Woodbridge: Police

Two men have been arrested in a drug-related shooting earlier this month in Woodbridge, according to Prince William County Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA—Two men have been arrested in a drug-related shooting earlier this month in the 12700 block of Marblestone Drive, according to Prince William County Police.

Shayne Jair Dandridge (top photo), 21, of the 2800 block of Woodmark Drive in Woodbridge, was charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery and use of a firearm in commission of a felony. Noah Malik Patterson, 20, of the 3200 block of Ridge View Court in Woodbridge, was charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery and use of a firearm in commission of a felony.

Around 3 p.m. on Aug. 7, police responded to the scene for a reported shooting. They later found that the victim, 25, arranged a drug deal with Dandridge and Patterson. But one of the suspects flashed a handgun and demanded the victim's money.

Instead, the victim shot Dandridge in the lower body before all three men fled the scene. Dandridge went to a nearby hospital for treatment. After an investigation, police obtained warrants for Dandridge and Patterson. No charges are pending against the victim.
