Bullet Fired Into Woodbridge House Hits Television: Police

Two bullets were fired into an occupied house in Woodbridge early Thursday morning, with one bullet striking a television, police said.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — Two bullets were fired into an occupied house in Woodbridge early Thursday morning, with one of the bullets striking a television on the second floor. No injuries were reported in the shooting, the Prince William County Police Department said.

At 2:20 a.m. Thursday, police officers went to a residence in the 5200 block of Mantle Court to investigate a report of shots fired. The police officers located shell casings on the ground in front of the house that was struck.

The police determined that a bullet entered the home through a room on the second floor, struck a television and another wall before ending up in an adjacent room. A second bullet entered the house and was found in the wall of a room on the first floor.

Residents reported seeing two unknown vehicles leaving the area shortly after the shots were fired.
