DUMFRIES, VA — Seemingly random gunshots into or at homes continue to spook Prince William County residents, with two residences hit Sunday but with no injuries, according to Prince William County Police.

Shortly before 11 a.m., police responded to a call in the 3300 block of Vineland Place, where the home owner said his residence had been struck by a bullet sometime between midnight and 7:30 a.m. Police found a bullet hole in the kitchen window and say the bullet lodged in an interior wall.
