Catholic Charities Opens Free Medical Clinic In Woodbridge

Starting out, the free medical clinic in Woodbridge will operate entirely by telemedicine during the coronavirus crisis.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — The Catholic Charities Mother of Mercy Free Medical Clinic opened a second location Monday in Woodbridge to operate entirely by telemedicine during the coronavirus crisis. Catholic Charities’ first clinic, in Manassas, opened two years ago.

The Woodbridge clinic will serve the health care needs of the underinsured and uninsured, regardless of faith, throughout all of Prince William County. Catholic Charities said it decided to expand to a second location at the request of the Prince William Area Free Medical Clinic.

“The need for free, high quality health care in our diocese is great. With this second clinic, Catholic Charities will be able to provide excellent care to serve the most vulnerable adults who come from all of Prince William County,” Art Bennett, president and CEO of Catholic Charities, said Monday in a statement.
