Child Endangerment Charge Hits Woodbridge Man: Police

A man arrested Monday after assaulting a woman in Woodbridge and then driving with an infant in the vehicle: Prince William County Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA—A man arrested Monday after assaulting a woman in the 2700 block of Marsala Court and then driving with an infant in the vehicle, according to Prince William County Police. Shane Vincent Ferdenzi, 27, of the aforementioned address, was charged with child endangerment, driving while intoxicated and domestic assault and battery.

Shortly after 5 a.m., police went to the scene for a reported domestic incident. The victim, 28, said she and Ferdenzi were in an argument that escalated. He then assaulted her and left with the infant as she contacted police.

He returned shortly thereafter as police were arriving. The woman suffered minor injuries and the child wasn't harmed.
