Children Endangered by Gun Owner in Woodbridge: Police

A man waving a rifle outside his residence was then found to have loaded guns within reach of two children: Prince William County Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A guy spotted waving a gun outside his residence and later found to have several loaded firearms inside within reach of two small children was arrested Saturday in the 3600 block of Bracknell Drive. Joshua Edward Jeffery, 31, was charged with two counts of child endangerment and one count of reckless handling of a firearm. He's being held without bond.

Around 10 a.m., police responded to the scene after a witness reported seeing an apparently intoxicated man walking outside his residence waving a rifle. They went inside and noticed several loaded firearms and ammunition within reach of a 2-year-old girl and a 5-year-old boy.
