Children Left Home Alone by Mother in Woodbridge: Police
The children were ages 1, 6 and 7, and the mother was charged with felony child neglect, according to Prince William County Police.

DUMFRIES, VA — A woman left her young children, ages 1, 6 and 7, unsupervised last Thursday night in the 16700 block of Diamond Oak Drive and was arrested the next day, according to Prince William County Police.
Miriam Owusu Boahene, 27, of the 16700 block of Diamond Oak Drive, was charged with three counts of felony child neglect and is being held without bond.
Around 11:15 p.m., police responded to the apartment after a report of possible child neglect and found the three children unattended. Boahene returned about an hour later and soon was arrested.

The children were released to the custody of a family member.
