Cop Spat Upon, Punched In Face In Prince William County: Police
A man spit on a cop and then him in the face while being booked early Thursday on intoxication charges in Prince William County: Police.

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA—A man is being held without bond after spitting on an officer and then punching him while being booked early Thursday in the area of Lee Highway and the Fairfax County line, according to Prince William County Police.
Adam Phillip Jones, 35, of the 1800 block of Forrest Road in Parkville, Md., was charged with two counts of assault and battery on a law enforcement officer, one count of driving under the influence and one count of unreasonable refusal.
Shortly after 12:30 a.m., police made a traffic stop and found the driver of a vehicle was drunk. He was arrested and taken to the Adult Detention Center to be processed. That's when he spit on an officer and then punched him in the face. He was quickly detained.
