Cops Assaulted by Intoxicated Man Acting Strangely in Woodbridge: Police
The man was found by Prince William County Police in a Food Lion restroom, and then tried to run away while pushing the officers.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A man acting strangely in a Food Lion restroom Oct. 21 was found to have narcotics in his pocket, tried to run away from officers, pushed both of them in his attempt but ultimately was arrested in the 12400 block of Dillingham Square, according to Prince William County Police.
Joseph Christopher Kranz, 27, of no fixed address, was charged with two counts of assault and battery on a law enforcement officer, one count of resisting arrest, one count of possession of a schedule I/II and one count of public intoxication.
Shortly after 7 p.m., police responded to a report from a store employee of a suspicious man and found him in the bathroom, after which the incident escalated.

Kranz and one of the officers were taken to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Kranz is being held without bond.
