Here are the latest traffic updates that will impact your morning commute on Wednesday, June 29.

On The Road

Around 6:30 a.m., police activity shut down M Street SW between South Capitol Street and 1st Street SW.

At 7:15 a.m., authorities cleared a crash on I-395 northbound at the Francis Case Bridge. All lanes were cleared, but delays remained.

At 7:25 a.m., the left lane of southbound US-29 was blocked near West Street for a crash.

At 7:30 a.m., there was a crash on I-66 westbound after I-495. Drivers should proceed with caution.

At 7:30 a.m., there was a crash on northbound Minnieville Road in Dale City near Dale Boulevard.

At 7:30 a.m., there was a crash on northbound VA-287 in Loudoun County, four miles south of the Maryland state line. No lanes were blocked.

Around 7:38 a.m., there was a disabled vehicle on northbound I-95 at mile marker 167.5, just north of exit 166B. No lanes were blocked.

At 7:40 a.m., drivers reported a disabled vehicle on I-495 northbound just south of exit 52B. No lanes were blocked.

On The Rails

On Wednesday morning, McPherson Square's Vermont Ave entrance was closed due to a power outage. Blue and Silver Line riders can still enter the station through the 14th & I Street entrance.

DC Area Weather

Temperatures are expected to reach 88 degrees on Wednesday in the D.C. area. Residents can expect mostly sunny conditions and low levels of wind.
