On the Roads
Around 7:25 a.m., a crash on the I-495 Beltway Inner Loop to southbound I-95 near Springfield blocked the right side of the roadway.

At 7:10 a.m., there was a crash on the left side of southbound VA-286 near Burke Centre Parkway.
At 7:18 a.m., a crash on northbound I-95 near Dumfries blocked the left lane.
At 7:35 a.m., the right lane of George Washington Parkway near the Key Bridge was blocked by a crash.
At 7:30 a.m., there was a vehicle fire on I-395 near the 14th Street Bridge.
On the Rails
At 6 a.m., WMATA said riders should expect residual delays on the Red Line toward Glenmont due to an earlier train malfunction.
Weather
Rain sticks around the area throughout the day on Tuesday. It will remain drizly and breezy with highs near 50.
