CVS Pharmacy Robbed at Gunpoint in Woodbridge: Police

Two gun-wielding robbers held up a CVS Pharmacy of prescription drugs Wednesday in Woodbridge, according to Prince William County Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — Two gun-wielding masked robbers held up a CVS pharmacy, 16712 Jefferson Davis Highway, Wednesday night and escaped with prescription drugs, according to Prince William County Police. One suspect was described as a white male, 6-0, with a thin build and wearing a face cover. He was last seen wearing a a grey sleeveless hooded sweatshirt, a long-sleeved dark shirt, blue jeans and tan shoes. The other suspect was described as a person of unknown gender or race, 6-0, with a thin build and wearing a face cover. The person was last seen wearing a tan jacket, dark jeans and Timberland boots.

Shortly before 9 p.m., police responded to the scene to investigate a robbery. Employees said two unknown people entered the business and approached the pharmacy counter. The suspects jumped over the counter, took prescription medications and then fled on foot.

Police used both a K-9 unit and a helicopter to search for the suspects but came up empty. No injuries were reported. Anyone with information is urged to call Prince William County Police at 703-670-3700.
