Da'Shawn Hand Makes it Official: Signs with Alabama

Da'Shawn Hand, the nation's No. 1 prospect, made it official on signing day Wednesday, committing to the University of Alabama.

Hand spoke with Patch as he was making his decision last summer. He said he was looking for a good school on and off the field.

“Obviously, I’m looking for a coaching staff and a town I’m comfortable with, but I’m also really focused on finding a good academic support system,” Hand said.
