D.C. Nightspot Is Coming to Potomac Mills
Eatery offers cuisine baked in wood-fired masonry oven.

A restaurant with a presence on the nightlife scene in D.C. will open a ndew location at Potomac Mills.
Matchbox, which bakes its cuisine in a wood-fired masonry oven, will open its doors in Woodbridge in the winter of 2015-’16, according to the website DC Eater. The restaurant serves bistro dishes like steak, scallops and salmon as well as grilled pizza.

Besides its original Chinatown location, near Verizon Center in Washington, Matchbox has a location on Capitol Hill and plans to open another on U Street in the District, according to the restaurant’s website.
Matchbox also plans to open a location this fall in Ashburn, in Loudoun County, and another next year at Pentagon City in Arlington.
