DC Police Arrest Man Wanted For Robbery In Woodbridge: Police
The suspect will remain jailed in D.C. until extradited to Prince William County to face charges of robbery and larceny, police said.
WOODBRIDGE, VA — The D.C. Metropolitan Police Department arrested a man Sunday in connection with a March 14 robbery of a Wawa in Woodbridge and a March 30 larceny at a Sheetz in Woodbridge, the Prince William County Police Department said Monday. The suspect, Delfino Alexander Ramirez, 36, will remain jailed in D.C. until extradited to Prince William County to face charges of robbery and larceny, according to the police.
On March 14 at 1:35 a.m., Ramirez allegedly entered the Wawa on Daniel Stuart Square in Woodbridge and walked behind the counter. During the encounter, Ramirez allegedly took tobacco products and fled the store. An employee followed him out of the store and confronted him. At that point, Ramirez allegedly brandished a knife before fleeing in a silver sedan, according to the police. No injuries were reported.
Ramirez also is facing a larceny charge for an incident that allegedly occurred March 30 at the Sheetz on Caton Hill Road in Woodbridge.

Prince William County police detectives also are trying to identify another suspect involved in the March 14 robbery at Wawa. The police determined the second suspect entered and left the store just before the robbery occurred and allegedly fled with Ramirez after the robbery. The second suspect is described as a bald man of unknown race, five-feet, 10-inches tall and about 180 pounds.
