Dead Dog Found Hanging From Tree in Woodbridge
A dead dog was found hanging from a tree Sunday afternoon in Woodbridge, according to Prince William County Police. It also was burned.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A dead dog that had been partially burned was found hanging from a tree Sunday afternoon in the 1600 block of Prince William Parkway, according to Prince William County Police. The dog, which may have been a terrier, was white and black.
Shortly after 4:30 p.m., police responded to the scene, a wooded area, for a report of possible animal cruelty. The Animal Control officers investigated and determined the dog may have been there for several days. The dog was transported to a state lab for a necropsy and further examination. Anyone with pertinent information is urged to call police at 703-792.5769.
