Death Penalty a Possibility for Teen Double-Murder Suspect

Ronald Francis Dorsey Jr., 19, is accused of murdering two of his youth counselors.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — The office of Prince William County Commonwealth's Attorney Paul Ebert confirmed Wednesday that the teenager charged with murdering two of his youth counselors qualifies for the death penalty.

Ronald Francis Dorsey Jr., 19, of 3670 Golf Side Cir, in Woodbridge, is charged with two counts of murder, thereby meeting a standard for capital punishment.

Erica Janelle Hickson, 37, was reporting missing Aug. 5 from the 12300 block of Pond Run Drive. She had last been seen the previous night while working a shift supervising young adults for a non-profit program at the apartment community behind Dillingham Square.

Hickson's disappearance followed the April death of Lizeth Yadira Lopez, another counselor at the same site who was missing for more than a week before her body was found.

Dorsey was a client living at the site and knew both victims, according to Prince William County Police. Hickson's body was found in a wooded area near Doresey's apartment on Golf Side Circle.
