Despicable Me 2: Trailer, Showtimes, Free Stuff, Kids Events

Despicable Me 2 officially premieres Wednesday, July 3. But there are tickets available for special Tuesday night shows at AMC Potomac Mills.

The film is a sequel to the popular cartoon that starred the voice of Steve Carrell as master villain  Gru.

There's free stuff and free kids events to take advantage of around the premiere. Fandango is offering a free song to download from the soundtrack when you purchase Despicable Me 2 tickets at the site. 

Home Depot locations will be offering a Despicable Me 2 workshop for lil' fans of film. The kids workshop will be open from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, July 6. There's a surprise craft. Program is for children ages 5-12.
