WOODBRIDGE, VA — Two people suffered life-threatening injuries to the upper body Monday after being shot — apparently by each other — at the Quality Inn, 1109 Horner Road, according to Prince William County Police. A male acquaintance with whom the woman had been arguing was found afterward. The woman was identified as a New York resident, 54. The man, 55, also is from New York.
Shortly before 9 a.m., motel employees reported to police that a female guest walked into the lobby with a gunshot wound. Before being taken to an area hospital, she said she had been involved in an altercation in one of the rooms. Officers secured the hallway and evacuated nearby guests.
