Drive-By Shooting Reported At Woodbridge Apartment Complex: Police

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A drive-by shooting was reported in Woodbridge on Wednesday afternoon, police officers told Patch. No injuries have been reported.

The shooting occurred at the Flats at Neabsco apartment complex in Woodbridge, next to Northern Virginia Community College and across the street from Freedom High School.

Authorities have not announced any arrests in connection with the shooting.

A window at the apartment complex's leasing office was damaged in the shooting.

Parts of Neabsco Mills Road were shut down as police officers searched for cartridge casings and other evidence connected to the shooting.

Around 1:30 p m., Prince William County police officers appeared to photograph evidence at the intersection of Neabsco Mills Road and Smoke Court, about 100 yards from the leasing office.

"That's a long a-- shot," one police officer said.

The police department had an increased presence in the area throughout the afternoon.
