Drive-By Shooting: Woodbridge Man Severely Injured

A Woodbridge man has been ID'd as the third victim in a weekend drive-by shooting on I-95 that left two women dead: Virginia State Police.

RICHMOND, VA — A Woodbridge man has been identified as the third victim in a weekend drive-by shooting on Interstate 95 that left two women dead, according to Virginia State Police. The passenger, whose name has not been released, was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injures.

A Manassas woman was shot an killed early Sunday morning in the apparent targeted shooting on northbound Interstate 95 in Richmond. Sharayne Danielle Nichole Holland, 26, was taken to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The driver of the 2017 Nissan, Tanna D. Gardner, 23, of Richmond, was pronounced dead at the scene. Four other passengers were not injured. Police say they believe the victims were targeted.

Around 3:45 a.m., police say a sedan pulled up alongside the Nissan on the driver's side. Shots then were fired from the sedan into the Nissan. Anyone with information about the incident is urged to call Virginia State Police at 804-553-3445.
