Driver Chased, Rear-Ended, Blocked in Woodbridge: Police
A man was arrested last week after chasing a female acquaintance in her vehicle and bumping her from behind: Prince William County Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A man who chased a female acquaintance in her vehicle, bumped her twice in the rear and then pulled in front of her in an attempt to block the road last week in the area of Jefferson Davis Highway and Dale Boulevard was arrested Friday in Washington, DC, according to Prince William County Police. Jose Miquel Blount, 41, of the 9400 block of Dashia Drive Driver in Fort Washington, Maryland, was charged with attempted malicious wounding, hit and run and reckless driving.
Shortly before 3 p.m. last Wednesday, police responded to the scene for an initial reports of two reckless drivers. Shortly thereafter, the Woodbridge woman, 32, contacted police and told them she had been driving near her residence when she saw Blount in his vehicle. She tried to drive away but Blount followed her.

On two separate occasions, he struck the rear of her vehicle while she was driving. At one point, she said Blount pulled in front of her to try to prevent her from going any farther. She managed to get away and Blount fled. No injuries were reported. Warrants were obtained and Blount was arrested two days later.
