Drug-Crazed Man Shoots Acquaintance In Woodbridge: Police
An apparently drug-crazed man shot an acquaintance in the chest early Monday morning in Woodbridge, say Prince William County Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — An apparently drug-crazed man shot an acquaintance in the chest early Monday morning and later was arrested in the 1400 block of Bayside Avenue, according to Prince William County Police. John Anthony Arnold, 19, of the 2700 block of Steele Court in Dumfries, was charged with aggravated malicious wounding, use of a a firearm in commission of a felony and burglary while armed. He's being held without bond.
Shortly before 12:15 a.m., police went to the 14100 block of Fisher Avenue for a reported shooting. They found that the victim, a 23-year-old man, were invited to an apartment in the area. While they were there, Arnold arrived and appeared to be under the influence of narcotics, and the victim offered him a ride home because of his condition.
While they were in the car, Arnold and the victim began arguing. That's when police say Arnold shot the victim, who was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. Arnold fled but later was tracked down by police and also was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
