Drunk Driving Crackdown: Checkpoints Every Week, Everywhere
Ho, Ho, Hail a Cab. Sobriety checkpoints wherever you'll find drunks this season.

Christmas parties kick into high gear this weekend — but your car should stay in park if your partaking in the merriment.
Along with forces across the region, Prince William County Police will be participating in the “Checkpoint Strikeforce” campaign — part of the holiday push to prevent drunk driving. The campaign runs through Jan. 1.
“The premise behind this program is simple: There will be sobriety checkpoints, every week, everywhere, so you never know when or where you may encounter one,” according to a PWCPD release.

Checkpoints will be pulling some drunks off the road, and hopefully deterring others from even trying to get behind the wheel.
Partygoers are encouraged to designate a sober driver or plan alternative travel methods.
