Dumfries Christmas Parade 2016 Saturday
The 42nd annual parade begins at noon in front of Town Hall, where a tree lighting will be held at 5 p.m.

The 42 Annual Town of Dumfries Christmas Parade is Saturday from noon-1:30 p.m.
This year's theme is "Winter Wonderland."

It begins in front of Town Hall, 17755 Main Street, and will head south on Route 1.
Afterward, at 5 p.m., a tree lighting will be held at Town Hall.

About 35 town and county police departments will be on hand to help direct traffic, which will be shifted from Main Street to Fraley Boulevard at 10 a.m.
