Dumfries Man Found Fatally Shot In Car: Police
A Dumfries man was pronounced dead on Sunday after police found him unresponsive in a car, suffering from a gunshot wound.
WOODBRIDGE, VA — A 20-year-old Dumfries man has died after suffering a gunshot wound, according to police. The Prince William County Police Department identified the man as Dominick Anthony Nicholas Moye.
On Sunday evening, Prince William County police officers responded to investigate a 911 call where the caller hung-up before providing any information. When they arrived at the 17100 block of Shell Cast Loop in Dumfries, officers found Moye unresponsive inside a vehicle, according to a release from the police department.
The officers determined that Moye had suffered a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene, according to police. Moye's death is being investigated as a homicide.

Now, detectives from the Prince William Homicide Unit are looking for more information about the incident. They are looking to determine what events could have led to the shooting, and they are speaking to anyone who may have information about Moye's death.
The Prince William County Police Department has not made any arrests related to this incident.
