Dumfries Man Sentenced to 10 years for Cocaine, Gun Charges: U.S. Attorney
Francis Joseph Douglas, 33 was sentenced to 120 months in prison. He distributed cocaine in Prince William County after trips to New York.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — A Dumfries man was sentenced to 10 years in prison Friday for conspiracy to distribute 500 grams of cocaine or more and the use of carry of a firearm during a drug trafficking crime, according to United States Attorney Dana J. Boente, Eastern District of Virginia.
Francis Joseph Douglas, 33, who pleaded guilty Sept. 7, was sentenced to 120 months in prison.
According to court documents, Douglas cold cocaine from October 14-August 2015, and during that time made bi-weekly trips to New York to obtain between $5,000 and $8,000 worth of cocaine, which was redistributed in Prince William County.

While distributing cocaine, he was regularly armed with a Glock .40 caliber pistol with an extended magazine.
Douglas, who already had multiple felony convictions, also aided and abetted his wife in providing false statements to buy four guns, including an AK-47 and an AR-15 rifle.

He did the same with McGary Dean Williams, who provided false statements during the purchase of two firearms from a federal firearms dealer in Woodbridge.
