Police Seek Dumfries Man Accused Of Assaulting Food Lion Employee

WOODBRIDGE, VA — Prince William County police are searching for a Dumfries man accused of sexually assaulting an employee at a Woodbridge grocery store.

Officers responded shortly after 9 p.m. to the Food Lion at 12420 Dillingham Square, according to police. Investigators said a 35-year-old employee was inside the store when a man approached her.

The man inappropriately touched the employee and grabbed her arm before leaving in a vehicle, police said. The employee reported no injuries.

Police Obtain Arrest Warrants

Following an investigation, police obtained arrest warrants for Matthew Porcelli, 41, of Dumfries. Attempts to locate him were unsuccessful, police said.

Porcelli is wanted on charges of sexual battery and assault and battery. Police described him as 6 feet, 1 inch tall and 236 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. No photograph was available.
