On the Roads

At 7:55 a.m., there was a crash on eastbound I-66 near VA-123. The crash was on the left side.

At 7:55 a.m., there was a disabled vehicle on northbound I-95 near mile marker 152. No lanes were closed.

At 7:47 a.m., the right side of VA-7 was blocked near VA-9.

At 7:36 a.m., there was a crash on northbound Foxhall Road NW at Reservoir Road NW.

At 7:32 a.m., there was an emergency work zone on Herndon Parkway blocking all lanes at Palmer Drive.

At 7:09 a.m., a crash affected both directions of VA-123/Ox Road around Burke Lake Road/Clifton Road.

At 6:26 a.m., the was a crash on Sudley Road/VA-234 at Coverstone Drive/Williamson Boulevard.

On the Rails

On the Orange Line, the Minnesota Ave, Deanwood, Cheverly, Landover and New Carrollton remain closed through Labor Day due to a summer platform improvement project. Local and express shuttles are available at Stadium-Armory.

Weather

Temperatures are expected to reach 85 degrees on Thursday, a cool off after a recent heat wave. Some areas may see a scattered shower throughout the morning and early afternoon.
